Let’s all hop into the Way Back Machine and travel to when Mercadian Masques was in standard and the coolest deck was Lin Sivvi Rebels. That was a super powerful deck, this one…..not so much!
The Randomator shafted us with three really terrible cards this week and I have to say, this was one of the harder ones to build in an interesting way.
The goal of this deck is to sneak out Rebels with the activated abilities of other rebels, and stop the biggest of the opponent’s creatures with pacifism effects.
Our feature cards are Temporal Isolation, Hypochondria, and Soul Tithe. There is a small discard them here with the hypochondria, I have added a couple spell shapers, and ways to fill our hands with lands so that we have discard fodder for those cards.
There are also some cards that reward us for playing enchantments so that our pacifisms are doing double duty.
